ARMS CR Headcanons
Jun. 19th, 2017 09:47 amThe following is a list of what I believe Min Min feels about her fellow ARMS characters. Since ARMS is not a story driven game, and the characters relations are only hinted at in snippets of text and official art, I made this to make it easier to RP with castmates. If you play a character from ARMS, feel free to refer to this list to see how my Min Min will generally react to your character.
Spring Man
Min Min feels conflicted about Spring Man. While his determination and sheer force of will in the ring are worthy of her respect, his antics and silly behaviour out of it drive her crazy. As such, she is very tsun tsun~ around him, especially when she loses to him.
Ribbon Girl
Ribbon Girl gets similar levels of tsun as Spring Man does. Min Min's not a fan of pop music, and Min Min finds Ribbon's high energy and bubbly personality to be... a lot. However, she can't help but admire the other girl's pep and drive, and doesn't completely hate having her around. Any Ribbon Girl's who want to glom onto Min Min and be her friend will be met with a lot of grumbling in Mandarin, but not much resistance.
Ninjara
Oh goodness does Min Min ever hate this guy. While she appreciates one character in this game who doesn't feel the need to constantly make noise, his general arrogance and the fact that he seems to be cold and unfeeling with his head stuck up his rear pisses her off to no end. Expect all the tsun if you tag Min Min with Nijara (which of course means we need to ship them).
Master Mummy
While at first Min Min thought that Master Mummy was creepy and a bit of a jerk, she quickly realized that his bluster is just for the cameras and that he's not really like that. After learning that all he wanted was to find his family, she really sympathized with him, and she absolutely respects his tremendous strength. She most definitely considers him to be her best guy-friend out of the entire ARMS cast.
Mechanica
Min Min has adopted her as her adorable little sister, and not one of you can tell her otherwise. She really respects the fact that instead of simply idolizing the ARMS League from afar, Mechanica built a suit and decided to join them. Unlike Helix, Byte and Barq, and Hedlok, who are all made to replace man power Mechanica is right there in the thick of things, fighting just as hard as her suit is. Her suit is a weapon, not a crutch. As such, any Mechanicas will find Min Min to be super protective of them.
Helix
Everything about Helix either creeps Min Min out, or annoys her. She hates the idea of artificially created fighters, and Helix is gross enough to make her skin crawl.
Kid Cobra
Min Min puts a strong value on traditional hard work due to her upbringing. That being said she hates the idea of streaming culture and how kids today can earn their living by just goofing off. Kid Cobra embodies everything about that and she absolutely loathes him.
Byte & Barq
While Min Min respects the law, Byte and Barq are more examples of artificial fighters that she hates. While she won't be outwardly rude to them, she takes great pleasure in proving her superiority in the ring. OHMIGOD YOU GUYS, BARQ IS SO CUTE!!! MIN MIN JUST WANTS TO HUG HIM AND CUDDLE HIM AND LOVE HIM AND
Twintelle
SOOOOOOOOO tsun. Min Min, a crotchety old lady in an 18 year-old's body, does not really think of acting as a real job, and finds it infuriating that this silver-spoon princess thinks she can just become a fighter as a side-project, using her money to back her up. That being said, Min Min can tell that Twintelle actually puts in the work and keeps herself in excellent shape, so she has great respect for that. And dem legs, man. Min Min crushes on Twintelle hard, a fact that she hides behind a solid wall of tsun.
Max Brass
While Min Min was never as big a fan of the ARMS League as Mechanica or Spring Man (she loved watching the fights, but never followed it religiously) she has nothing but the deepest respect for Max Brass. This is a man who not only built the entire ARMS League himself, but also openly competes in it, even offering his own title up for grabs to whoever can best him in a fair fight? Oh yeah, she has a mad crush on this dude. Any Max Brass' who tag her will be able to bypass the tsun and cut straight to the dere.
Biff
Min Min likes Biff. He can be a little annoying, but he's also rather cute. She loves how he gets fired up about ARMS, and he also loves ramen. No bad person could possibly love ramen. As such, she tends to think of him as her surrogate little brother.
Hedlok
NOPE. Hedlok is the embodiment of everything Min Min despises. Not only is he an artificial fighter, but he latches on to the body of another fighter, leaching off of their strength and hard work? Not on her watch. Any Hedlok who tags Min Min best be ready to take a tumble.
